Abstract Trees

I was in a little bit of an abstract mood when I was camping this last weekend.  Here is some of what I got while in this state of mind.  Please feel free to comment or critique.  At least let me know if they are interesting to you.

The first one is a backlit lodgepole pine.  The other two are both part of a small 'study' I did of a tree that had fallen into the lake near my camp.  They are all mainly just a representation of texture, shapes, and lines.  Hopefully you enjoy them.

I recently returned from a trip out West so the lodgepole pine brings back fond memories, I can almost smell it.  Love the back lighting on it.

Ooo...I missed this one!

The third one is KILLER! The shadows on the water are perfect and it's almost like the tree has spread its arms in surrender to the water. Oh, and I just noticed the curling of the branches. What a dynamic scene!

Double matte with a small black secondary mat and a white primary mat.

Last one is my favorite too, I like them all though.
