Back to Bolivar

Some of you may remember my thread from back in October when I went to Bolivar peninsula shortly after hurricane Ike. I just came back from a short vacation there and got to see the progress in the last 10 months. In short, the place is a study in contrast. Some things haven't changed at all, and some things look like there never was a storm. I should have some more shots; but I have to do a little card recovery tomorrow morning.

I'm sort of a news junkie, and right after Ike blew threw I was looking for pictures online everywhere I could find them.  Well, at least I was after we got power back.  The one that sticks out in my mind is all of the boats up on the highway into Kemah.
