Five years ago they were rare.  They still are but much less so. I think the re-introduction of the osprey has brought the eagles back (they love to steal fish from the fisheagles)

Beautiful landing shot. Smiley I remember spending hours watching a nest a few years ago. Is the nest close to where you live? Can you go back often?

Its about 15 miles away. The golf course its on only lets us in on Tuesdays between 7:30 and 8:30 it was too foggy today. I do plan on going back every Tuesday until they fly away.
