Batch resizing without Photoshop

Anybody have a recommendation for a tool to resize a folder full of images, other than Photoshop?  I've got quite a few ProofBuddy users that are having problems with their web servers balking at resizing full sized images (too much memory being used is probably the cause) and I'd like to find something, preferably freeware, to recommend to them.

I've used IrfanView, but the dialog boxes for batch conversion are a little too crowded for a simple program.  Sure, there's a lot of power in its batch conversions, but I'm looking for something as simple as possible.

Not free . . . but, I have been using ACDSee for this for the last few years.  Very simple interface and reasonalby fast and cheap . . .

I have several friends who use Fotosizer (http://www.fotosizer.com/) and just love it. Smiley

It's freeware.

Per Robert W.'s recommendation, I use PIXResizer.  It's free and works good for me when I'm using OPG for proofing.
