This little lady is the cutest - HAPPIEST - little baby

I'll be taking more pictures of her next summer and she'll be walking . . . i'm excited!

Beautiful ! It might look better if you darkened it a bit (using curves, drag the bottom left corner a tiny bit to the right) might not, won't know till you try.

Zooming out a little to have the left hand in view.
Edge burning was a good choice.

actually i was in a tight spot... the cute little thang was charging towards me and i was stuck in a corner. had to be quick.
i don't remember the last time i used pop up flash - maybe when i was still using film?  haha    nope    sb600.
but because it was so close - maybe thats why you thought so?

LOL, I have a picture just like this of a little cutie at a wedding.  We were in the dressing room with the bride, tight spot and she was just smiling at me, so I took the picture with the flash pointed at her, I didn't have time to position it to bounce off the ceiling or anything.  I tried to re-create the shot, but she wasn't having it, so that's the one the family got and they love it.
I can't wait to see what you get when she is walking.
