Golden Mean... now that's what I'm talking about. There are so few judges and critiquers that understand it though, they'll call you back to the rule of thirds day in and day out without regard to the true impact of an image in relation to its space within the edges of the frame. What is the rule of thirds if not a simplification of the rule of thirds on standard sized images anyway? OK, enough of my rant, the image is gorgeous and the b&w is wonderful. Personally I would like to see a little dodging (or your personal PS preference) on the lower left cloud and blending up behind the tree a little. Not much, just ever so slightly to create a little more flow and movement and also to help push the tree forward some. Nitpicky, I know.
