Boudoir w/red backdrop

So I got some drapes at Ikea and hung them on a rod and I just pull the one I want across the wall.  This is the first time I have used the red.  Black and red/lace and feather boas aren't my style, but I like how this turned out even though it is reminicent of that type of cheesy glamour photography.

looking at the shadow the earring is casting in the second one it looks like I have cross lighting going on....?

Looks good, backdrop suites the occasion. Very nice work, I see no cross lighting. oops, yes I do, is that a shadow of the thumb at our left on the neck, if not, no worries.   Big Grin

The hand, back or forehand if placed close the face competes for attention as they are relatively the same size. Elegance is the sides of the hands.

Face looks more natural on #2
On #1 face maybe a bit much on processing.

She's a butterfly lighting candidate, I like the shape of her face.

I don't know if that is a shadow or not.  I guess if it is crosslit it's not horrible because I can't really tell, and I have been staring at it forever trying to figure it out.
I should have used more of a butterfly light, I agree.  I am probably going to shoot her again.  She loved my sister's corset and my sister said she will make one for her for trade if she models some of her outfits for her portfolio.  I am pretty sure she will be interested.

Anyway, post processing - I am not really sure what you mean, eyes or skin? or both?  I really didn't do much, I promise!  I did clean up her lips a little...  She had the freaky-est white eyes and teeth I have ever seen.  Seriously, she is a post processing dream.  I didn't smooth her skin, I took out two freckles...

Hmm, interesting, okee dokee.

I thought it was a skin smoothing, do you use any noise reduction, like neat image or noise ninja.

No, I don't have either of those noise programs.
I didn't run the PS noise reduction either.  The hi res version has plenty of texture to her skin....  I don't know...
