Bridge at night

Hi, I'm new here this is the first photo I've posted.
I think the whole thing is noisy (which i don't really know how to fix) and there is a light pole on the right side that bugs me but my post processing skills aren't yet good enough yet to do anything about it. Only recently have i decided to take my photography seriously so criticism is very welcome. Thanks.

First,  Welcome to PAF and thanks for jumping in with both feet and posting an image.

Wouldn't worry too much about the light pole. I wouldn't have noticed it had you not mentioned it. But Gimp should be able to clone it out pretty easily. Haven't used Gimp in a while, but there should be some type of clone brush and with a pretty solid background it's not too bad to fix.

I'm really digging the reflections, although I'm a bit of a sucker for that sort of thing.

Would it be possible to get a wider shot? Maybe crop out top and bottom to get a little less of a 4x6 proportion. Don't know this bridge, but I'd guess there's more to the right and left that we're missing out on.

And you might want to cross post this image into one of the other boards - fine arts maybe. The way this particular critique board is set up anyone can post, and you can reply to your posts, but only a handful of users - the ones with "Pro Critique" next to their names - can reply. If you post it over on the fine arts board anyone can chime in.

I agree it should be bigger however there was a big ugly building and lots of big ugly lights on the right side. I had actually cropped them out ofter the fact. The reflections were actually the reason i took the shot so I'm glad you mentioned them.  Ill definitely post this in another section, I didn't know thats how it worked. Thanks for the reply and the warm welcome.

Oh also, I thought a 2x3 proportion was preferable? Something about a golden ratio? I think I may be missing something
