"Burning The Day"

Couldn't think of a good title, honestly.

And sorry if I'm submitting too many photos at once, I know it must be annoying and such. =) So this will be my last photo for maybe a few days. ^.^

No No, keep submitting photos, but like I said in my last post (the Easter one) try submitting them to different areas of the forum so everyone can comment. You will get more opinions and ideas.

I am going to start off by explaining myself a little bit. I am a wedding and portrait photographer. I specialize in boudoir photography. I shoot people. Landscapes, animals and other non-people pictures aren't really what I do and are not what I enjoy shooting. Because of that I don't feel particularly qualified to make critiques or even leave comments other than on general things. A lot of other photographers here are more knowledgable with this stuff. So please don't ever get offended if I comment generally or not at all. It doesn't mean I don't like the photo.

In this one I like the color and the focus. In these types of photos I am generally lost on the actual subject, because in people photography the people are the subject and it just goes without saying. But regardless, it's a pretty image and very pleasing to look at.

This specific thread is where people post their best work to find out from a selected group of expert photographers if its "there" or not. Post in the other sections where more people have the ability to comment and you'll learn more.

This photo is a good exercise on depth of field but I, like Suzie, see no subject.

I'm going to ditto that.  The way this board is setup anyone can start a thread but only a handful (those with "Pro Critique" by their names) can reply.  You will probably get more feedback in some of the other boards simply because anyone can reply.

That said, I think you and I have very similar styles while walking around taking pictures.   Much like your fishing image, this looks like something I could seem myself taking.
