Contest for Winter '07 - Cold

Since tomorrow is the first day it's supposed to get below freezing around here - I'm in Houston after all - Cold seems like a good topic for a contest.  So dig out your best shots in the snow, ice, and anywhere else that makes you think of cold.

This one isn't going to win any awards, but it's from the only white Christmas I've ever had.  It's one of my wife's roses on Christmas Eve '04.  It's a scan from a disposable camera.

We have had snow for a month now.  It is fairly uncommon for it to stick around this long.  I shot this last week.

Off of the left of the image it looks like a cloud over the mountain, but, its the wind blowing the snow right off of it.

It was about 3 degrees when I took this.  In the evening in the shadow of a deep canyon.  I knelt down in the snow to get this angle (I couldn't get any lower) and after a few exposures, my jeans were frozen stiff.
