Yeah there is certainly something dark about the whole scene, and she does have a victim look about her

Pretty cool though, good job.

Sort of the "In Fog/Smog/Smoke feel?" if so, a work in progress.
The render clouds can be useful or may be of looking too fake, you're too close to the fake, like I said, it is a progress and needs fine tuning.

I overlayed some clouds from a passing thnderstorm a few weeks ago. Blend and mask to taste.
She's pretty new to modeling and still gets the "deer in the headlights" look pretty often. Had to find a way to do something with it.

That's a thought. I'll have to see if I have time this week to cut her out of the background.
She was very happy with it as is so I guess I shouldn't be too dissapointed with it myself.

The clouds have that really cool appearance as though she was photographed in a studio. One of the props in a studio is a background which can be of various colors or paintings etc.

I would use the brush tool to paint out the clouds from the model, instead of cutting and pasting, just an opinion, something I often do when working in layers and multiple images.

That's what I did for this. She just has a lot of flying hair behind her that you don't really see here. I have to admit I was being lazy and just let the clouds cover it up instead of trying to mask all that little stuff out.
