"Diffuse Glow" Tool

I was playing around with the Filters in CS2 and came across the Diffuse Glow filter. Interesting little filter. After and before:

I actually use diffuse glow a lot for bridals and wedding stuff, but be careful, some images don't look so good with it and it can be taken too far.
I am not saying you did that with this image, per se, but I like the original a little better.
Pretty swan.

In all honesty, sorry, it does not work, great idea though.
Original, exposure issue, good effort.

That's the fun of playing. You mess up, but it's a learning experience. I never knew this tool existed.

Susie, can you show us a before/after with one of the bridals?

This was at a wedding...  It's the first one I found.  I used diffuse glow on it as well as a bunch of other stuff.

You know, I must not use it as often as I thought.  I don't have any great examples.  I don't like what it does to skin so a lot of the time I create a layer, apply diffuse glow, then erase back the skin and the wedding dress sometimes, because it just looks blown out.  I guess I just use it on backgrounds and I can't find any great examples quickly.  I would have to look at each wedding.
