Posing ideas

Everyone knows how bad I am at posing a person. Ive beed trying to teach myself by going through tons of photographers galleries (thanks to ModelMayhem). On some of my journies through cyber galleries I've noticed a very few people doing the reflections thing (like Susie's little girl sticking out her toungue)

Costume change where the mirror reflection is the fantasy kind of thing.

Now here's my idea but I wonder the best way to make it happen.

Use shadow.

a couple is standing, holding hands, looking at each other but their shadows are kissing.
a couple is standing back to back like they're mad but their shadows are dancing.

etc etc.

thoughts?

Those are some interesting ideas.  There will be clients out there that will be interested in it.  I don't tend to like kitschy stuff, but it sells.  For example, a large majority of couples around here get married at the LDS Salt Lake Temple.  So it is photographed a lot and couples see other couple's pictures and we get this request:  There is a pedistal in front of the temple that couples traditionally stand on to have their photo taken, a spin on that is to have the groom stand on the pedistal and have the bride stand quite a distance in the foreground holding her hand out so it looks like the groom is really tiny and standing in her hand.  It's not a hard shot you just have to get the right angle, but people LOVE it because it is "cute" and "different".
