I don't care for the font.  The picture is good.

It's a good effort, however, the image is flat, "Colors"
I agree with Susie about the font, omit it, the capture tells the story.

I dont know what to add about the font, other than, I think its up too high.
Looking at the image for awhile, I could see the bird, and I could see the message, but the house at the bottom was lost.
I think its currently throwing the image out of balance.

Cool idea.

Of course, omitting the text doesn't work for the promotion I'm doing. Wink I'd love to hear ideas as to an alternate wording, though, and what type of font you all think would work better for this. This is going in a school as a poster to promote environmental awareness.

Try different fonts on the image.  I just think what you have is a little... sterile, for lack of a better way to explain it.

Shorten the message, simplify, "Homeless"

How about change the spacing so the words cover most of the right side. The figure out a different font if you still don't like it. If you read all the way down the words you'll look all the way down the image.

Sarcasm, frustrating the clueless since 3000 b.c.

I don't think i would understand a shortened or no message...

What about a lighter font color?  Even white maybe?

Is there any more image that you cropped out?

The crop got rid of the overblown sky. Wink

leave the font alone, drop the text to be all "in the grass" then make the letters the same color as the swift's chest.

see if that looks better [shrug]
