Fireworks

John mentioned fireworks in another thread and it made wonder - Who here is planning on taking pictures of them tomorrow?  I won't be going to a big fireworks show, unfortunately.  We are going to be bbq-ing with my family and my husband wants to buy one of those big packs of fireworks you light on the ground to fire off for the family.  My daughter loves sparklers.  We can't light the ones that shoot into the air here legally.

I'll be shooting the local show. It's a nice challenge to get a good shot. Smiley

I didn't shoot any tonight (yesterday actually, since its saturday now), but I would love to see if other people shot some. *hint hint* I love firework pictures. I've always wanted to try it, but I'm never around any with good enough colors to shoot (except at disneyland...now that I think about it...I should try that sometime) because my family always just does the ground ones, its not legal to do the cool ones here either.  Sad

We didn't do much for fireworks this year. Our friends kids played with a few sparklers but that was it. We had a good redneck 4th. Beer, BBQ (beef on a pit, not that east coast porks stuff), and a couple hours of skeet shooting in a back pasture. I did get some fireworks shots last year though, here's one.
