First edit from latest session

This is the first one I have edited.  Ironically it was the absolute first shot I took.  That never happens.  The first frame is usually no good.

She signed a model release, by the way.  Yay!

Beautiful image. The shadows along the wall could be a bad point. Could you, next time put some light camera right to lessen those shadows but not change the way you have her lit because the shadows across her front are great!

One thing if she was getting dressed that's one thing but if she IS dressed she needs shoes...

*twitch*

I think I've been hanging out with models too long, I noticed her missing shoes way too soon....... [shrug]

good job.

Bob, ironically I am learning to not be afraid of shadows...  I have a shadow phobia.  I'll see what I can do next time.  This was lit with a soft box turned vertical close to the wall on my left and an umbrella set way behind my head for a touch of fill.

And yeah, we added shoes after the first shot   Big Grin

One thing about shooting with a mirror - You have to make sure the model/client is flattered in two angles.  These aren't perfect but I am learning.

Have her look at the camera take the shot then have her look at the camera through the mirror and take the shot. then paste the mirror image from shot two into shot one.

if little else moves it makes a really freaky image...

was it you or Cindy that shot the little girl all pretty but her reflection was sticking out her tongue?.. That shot has inspired me to do some really er odd things...

Hey!!!!!

Excellent shots.
Shadows, looks great, I like what you did, nothing wrong with shadows as long as they play a role, such as Alfred Hitchcock movies, it adds suspense. Shadow play has gone by the way side because of fear of using them. I am particular to shadow play, good on yah to show some.

#3, as that a door behind the subject? Closing the door to just about the frame on the left might work, I don't know what is behind the door.

lol, I am not going for freaky, these are for their husbands or boyfriends, but that is an interesting idea.

The little girl was my image:

Thanks Mike.  I do like when other people use shadows... but I am just afraid of doing it wrong.  There are shadows in real life, afterall.
But anyway, thanks for the compliments, they mean a lot.

It's not a door in the background, it's a dressing screen.  This mirror is where the girls get dressed since I don't have a dedicated changing room.  Behind the screen is the makeup area.
