Our wedding for April 19'th, 2008. There were no outdoor areas with greenery to use as a backdrop and so we used the Railway Tracks close the brides home. Although the train doesn't go through often, we were all concerned that it could at any time. After some anxiety on the part of a few of the bridal party, some started to think about how cool it would be if it did come along so that we had it in the background - - - DREAM ON!
The bride had come prepared with a very cute basket that included fancy dishes, wine glasses - along with a bit of food and the bottle of wine. I also had asked her to bring a nice dark coloured blanket that we could set on the tracks for them to sit on. After putting them in position, I backed off and shot with my lens fully extended for far down the tracks for a more compressed look. I just shot the whole sequence from setup to getup. We took other shots under the bridge including the one posted here of the whole bridal party walking along enjoying themselves.
