Here are some more samples

The models were newbies, no experience, this was new to them.

For Susie, more amputated limbs from the water and some splash   Big Grin

For John, yep, I know how to slow water, especially at a waterfall.   Big Grin

This model, I wasn't overly impressed with. She'll learn.

I think your blacks are a little too dark and losing detail. Maybe it's just my taste.

Hope you don't mind my edit.

I don't mind, however, the workshop, image is flat/fog

You're right, it is. It was a quickie job.

My personal taste is for higher contrast regardless of detail loss as long as it isn't excessive, so I like Mike's version, but that's just opinion.
Mike, the second one that you actual said was for Marian is my favorite.  It's stellar, the light, the pose, Wow. good job!  Clapping

The only thing I see she did wrong is her makeup is too dark for her deep set eyes.

as for the other things..... *shakes head*

Mike, love the "broken down" pose in the second one. The turned ankle gives it a lot of interest and her hands are really graceful. The lighting is wonderful, so soft! Smiley

Marian, Do you watch America's Next Top Model?  You seriously use their terminology, it's funny.

Bob, that's what I was doing, *Shakes Head, Headache, to much Shaking*   Big Grin   Big Grin

All natural light, late afternoon, which, I prefer after dinner.
We did use an umbrella for harsh light around the 1pm times, and a white Bedsheet to block the harsh light for maybe around 2ish or 3ish, not these shots though.

I need to buy some PVC piping to make a sun blocker diffuser.

Marian, that model if it was a competition between the three of them, one not posted, the one in the black won hands down, she was good at posing. For emotion and expression during poses, not the fun ones, she was directed, again, she did the poses.

lol, I have never missed one episode.  Sometimes the drama part is stupid, but I love the concept, and I miss Janice and Twiggy, I don't like Paulina.

Anyway, one day my husband was standing around at his office and mentioned watching ANTM and some of the girls started teasing him and he goes "hey hot chicks and photography, what's not to love?".

Anyway sorry for hijacking, I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread Smiley
