Google DNS servers

Woke up this morning and found that I couldn't connect to some of my sites.  I've got remote access to a couple of servers so I checked from there, and the site worked.  Turns out the DNS servers for U-Verse weren't working like they should, or at least that's what it appears to have happened.

Along the way found that Google has a set of public DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  Switched over to those and all is working like it should Cheesy Grin

For the non-geeks among you...  DNS is the service that let's you type in photoartsforum.com and actually go to the server at IP address 66.228.126.132.

that's good information and a great "secondary" nameserver to use.
