Groomsmen

I don't know how many people on the board shoot weddings right now, but I thought I would post some groomsmen pictures for fun.  These are always the hardest for me to do.  I am pretty girly so the bridesmaid's pictures come easier to me and I seem to get a lot more creative.
Post your own groomsmen pictures, or comment on mine, whatever.

OH, and I obviously take formal pictures too, they just aren't as fun.

Cool shots, now, that's what I like to see. Excellent expressions captured.

I love your shots Ginny.

I always do my grooms "dreamy", and my groomsmen "butch"....dark tones...in my girl mind, just manly.

Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

All of these are a lot of fun.  Great work from two of the greats.

Now, how am I supposed to even dare to put anything up with that for competition?  I think I'll sit idly by and see what I can learn.

I didn't intend for it to be a competition at all.  I just wanted to discuss groomsmen.  Even if you don't have anything to display (which I am sure that isn't true) talk about your favourite ways pose the guys or get expressions from them.  Maybe next month we will show off our bridesmaid images, tips, techniques, funny stories, whatever...  It's all in fun.

Of course it's not competition.  I only meant that you two did a great job!

One of the very few weddings I've shot, the groomsmen were the brides sons. One gave his mom away. The groomsmen were standing behind the groom so after he gave his mom away he casually walked to where a shotgun was hidden and picked it up and held it in a guarding manner. (I was the only person that knew about it)

The poor pastor was about to bolt until he saw the bride giggling. Just as the preacher asked "Do you take this woman...." the son cocked the shotgun.

Since they were behind the groom it was only then he figured out why the bride and bridesmaids were giggling to the point of tears. He answered the question with a very high pitched " i do"  which brought more laughter.

I have strange friends... [grin]
