Help on Greek Orthodox protocol

Not a ton of choices for background. It was a really sunny day - no open shade around the temple. We picked the brick wall on the shaded side of the church.  Here was the setting for the temple.

Carrie,

Why didn't you use the shade on the left side of the temple with the woods as the background?

Ed,
We did use the left side. It's a little deceiving in the picture. There are no ' woods' around the temple, just the two or three thin trees you see at the left and directly beside those is a cemetary. Same with the right side. There were two trees by the bells, which we did utilize, and then a large parking lot. There was also fresh dirt work being done on both sides of the temple, making walking around a little difficult in the dress.
