Featured Image Library

You probably missed it, but there is now a More... link next to the Featured Image header on the front page.  Clicking on the more link will take you to a library that lists all of the featured images, sorted with the most recently posted first.

As the collection of featured images grew - we're up to 31 - each image was less likely to get its 6 hours of fame.  And we've got so much good stuff here that it seemed a shame to have these images get lost in the mix.

Or, you can just click on http://photoartsforum.com/index.php?action=featured

Ryan, not a complaint, however, If I may,
I think you should have 75% portraiture/wedding/people images over landscape/nature/things/fauna.

Just a suggestion, since this site is more about "People" up to you, you're the boss.   Big Grin

I really don't disagree with that.  But then I'm not really keeping track of what I flag.  If I see an image that I think belongs I download it, resize it, and upload it back into the feature images list.

Hopefully we'll get to a point in the near future where I have to go back and figure out a way to split the featured image library into categories.

And while on the topic, I'm open to nominations from anybody.  So if you see an image that you think belongs let me know.  Shoot me a PM or click the Report to moderator link and tell me about it.

Why is that, if I may?

What a great idea! Smiley

I would prefer more people too, but I think it's a fact that we don't have 75% people pictures that are super high quality on here (I am not dissing anyone in particular, a lot of the people images I post are to ask how to fix what I did wrong).

The tag line I use for this forum is "come discuss all things photographic," so we're open to almost anything. I'd like to see more portraits and weddings because that's what I need to work on and seeing excellent work helps that learning process. But a great shot is a great shot and deserves to be featured, no matter what the subject.
