No. Not on a white background.

Not a fan of it. Too harsh looking for the mood.

No, plus the skin is blotchy, as John said, you need mood lighting, romantic.

The processing reminds me of a movie poster. I actually like the oversaturated effect, pointing us right to her breasts and eyes.

What I don't like is the position of the wrist/hand she is leaning on. Her fingers are missing. Smiley

I would crop it, like so:

Yeah, it's harsh, that's why I wanted everyone's opinion, I couldn't decide.

Marian, I do like your crop better.  Without the crazy treatment you see she is sitting on a bed and there are pillows in the background, and so the missing fingers and the wrinkled part under her leg make sense.

I was thinking, how about a noir look.?

Mike, you are really into the noir thing lately.

I think this effect would look better with a low key picture.

That's what it is, yet, with play of shadows. That model screams, NOIR.

I got some shadowy black and white pictures of her with my big mirror in her little black dress.  I love how they turned out.  Very sultry.

She was a client that signed a model release for me.  I tell ya, I get to shoot some amazingly pretty women that aren't professional models.  I love this gig.

its a no, but it does have some qualities.

This should be cropped really close but I wanted to show another idea.

It's interesting when you push an image really far,  you notice things you didn't before like the creases around her waist and the shape of her nose.

Historically I have not been a fan of pushing an image to the point where it no longer looks like a photograph, whether it's the comic book look, or making it look like a painting.

With that being said, I don't like this edit, but it's just my taste and what I lean toward, other people will like it.

Can I join the fun? Here's my play

lol, I should have posted the original.  Everyone has such different ideas, it's kinda fun.

I have to say, "No" as did others.  This may not have been your intension, but this is getting very close to the cross-processed look.  Cross-processing produces as intersting look, but it wreaks havoc on skin tones.  You have a lot of skin tones in this image!
