Light Painting.

A collaboration between my wife and I for this shot. I'm going to try to get to use this building again. We had so many ideas for this room after we got home it's a crusade to get back there now.

A flashlight, a tripod, and a very well behaved dog.

I dont know if its the blue or the empty chair or both, but this picture is sad. (emotionally speaking)

Gorgeous subject matter.  And yeah it is sad.  I think compositionally I want the point where the walls and the floor meet (the corner) to be more to the upper right, but ever so slightly.
Regardless, it's a stellar image.  Great job.   Clapping

It appears that the dog is watching the door for an owner that isn't coming back.  So yes, it's a sad picture.

Cool lighting though Cheesy Grin

The lady that owns the dog teared up when she saw she shots she made on her own camera and someone made a similar comment. I wish that is was technically a little better because it is does stir powerful emotion.

That's on the agenda if we get to use this place again. The room is huge and perfect for it. The lady that owns this building uses the front of it as storage for her restaurant next door and this room stays empty. She also bought a place to turn into another bed a breakfast that has a building that was a 600 square foot dog house covered in a fancy mirrored tile that I want to use too. The previous owner spent $60k on the tile alone.

600 sf dog house!  That's bigger than my first apartment.

The tile in said doghouse costs more than the house I live in.

This is part of the indoor pool in the greenhouse attached to the main house. There's four or five greenhouses total and three living facilities all clustered together. This greenhouse is two story and has a catwalk around the outside walls so you can look down into the pool area, and suspended planter boxes for hanging vines and such. Carol is turning the little compound into a couple retreat B&B. It's going to be a really awesome place when she's done renovating it. The previous owner was...a bit eccentric.

Here's a couple detail shots of the grounds around and between the buildings my wife took while we were there.
