A very intriguing image, John.  Was your original exposure that perfect on the whites, or did you need to PS it some to get it so clean.  Also, I am wondering what a very long horizontal crop would do for the image, so there wasn't so much negative space.  May not be any better, just a thought.

Wow, what an image, great use of the white background!

My only nit pick - it doesn't seem quite centered, but not off center enough to be on purpose, I would try a different crop.

I call the image nailed. done finished...

dead space is a crop thing, no matter

I'm thinking the crop is near perfect and gives you room to put her name into the image.  Seems to be a pretty popular trend right now.

Ya'll are gonna love this, here's the original. SOOC

I needed just a tad bit more light to get to a pure white. Easy fix in PS using the color replacement tool. Added more white space using the crop tool. I'm not real pleased with the aspect ratio either, I would have made it more of a horizontal crop too, but it fit the frame my daughter already had. If I could afford it I would make one like 60" wide and hang it in her drill team's practice space.

Clapping  Hey Gang!  Don't mess with success.  The image as first presented is lovely- great composition and use of the luxury of space.  The image is a delicate study and tells a romantic story.

Ed Thank You

Great PS work!

I say, make the biggest size you can afford and hang it there anyway.  A 30 inch would still be impactful.  Just make sure you sign it Smiley

And yay for drill team!  I wish I had more pictures taken of me in my cheer uniforms and drill team costumes, team sports create a lot of great memories.  I am going to make sure I take lots of pictures of my daughter in any activity she does.

Let me know how it goes with your wife.... I am contemplating telling my husband that I think we should turn our living room into an extension of my studio so I have more variety with my sets, lol.
