Bride made the cake!

The bride made her own cake! Guess what the bright colored ball things are on top...... clear Christmas ornaments filled with Jell-O! Crazy! I asked her where she got the idea and she said she made it up because she couldn't find anything to buy that was similar. Her theme was bright colors (fuschia, orange and red) and polka dots.

A close up of the bride putting the balls on the top. The stuff on the ball is plastic wrap which she peeled off later.
The second picture is the bride on the left and her mom putting the cake together.

Her making the cake and working on the decorating, to me will make it mean more when she looks at the photos again in 20 years.

Yeah, I think it will mean more, she was telling all her guests that she made it herself. I got a lot of shots of her and her mom putting it together, I haven't gone through all of them yet.
