Eyes

For my blog I put together a collage of eyes from different boudoir shoots over the past two years.  Thought I would share.

Should I change the order of the last one?  It creates a weird angle with her eyes and the girl's eyes in the picture ot the left.  I didn't notice it until I posted it here.

Typically you'd want the eyes to always look to the center.  It's more pleasing to the eye and creates a flow to direct the eyes to the center.  You wouldn't want the eyes looking off the image..but into the image.  I swapped and turned the one.  It's still a little unbalanced.  I'd create a wider "eyes" box to place in the second or third location, and maybe shorten the last box just a little, and add a 5th set of eyes.  Take a rule from flower arrangements and stick with "odd" numbers. When people see "even" numbers their mind automatically looks for symmetry to "balance" it...which would then makes this feel "unbalanced". I've played around with them...(hope you don't mind!)

Got it  Smiley
I'll play some more and see what other images I can add to get 5.  My problem was that I picked my favorite eye images without thinking of how it was all going to come together.

See how a simple little illustration for a blog post turns into an all day event?

I know about never having your subject "leaving" or "looking out" but never thought it would apply to just eyes..

My thought is its not a collage its a strip Think how you would populate a 12x12 print on your wall. Another thought is just eyes not the face or even the nose.
And try either color or putting the color back into the iris.

cool idea, by the way!!
