Never have brought myself to signing up for Twitter.  Like the idea, but I'd probably be pretty lax in keeping it updated.  Besides, I never figured anyone would really be all that interested in what I'd have to tweet about.  Maybe if I was using it for a business it might be different.  It does seem to be a good way to build up online branding.  And, from what I've read, for those it works for it works really well.

Probably need to work on keeping it a little more up to date though.  There's only one post from the past 60 days.

Start following Joe McNally, Chase Jarvis, and Strobist to get an idea of how others are using it. You might be surprised. The trick is to get a large following otherwise your a radio station with no listeners.

I'm more of a consumer than a producer at this point.

Oh and thanks Ryan, I wasn't spamming, per se, I was asking my e-bff's for a favor. LOL, j/k.

I am going to try and keep up with it.  I was worried about keeping a blog updated and I have done okay, it's one of the best things I have done for my business.  Because it's updated it gets high search engine ranking and I can express myself better than through a cold austere website.
Twitter is more just for fun, you know, a filler and to make me look cool.

I started a blog, and was getting hits haven't posted anything there in a while and no I don't tweet either. I get enough mindlessness from facebook and myspace.

I think one of my kids convinced me to sign up for Twitter.  I will check and if I still have an account I would be glad to sign up as one of your followers  Big Grin

Figured I'd play around with Twitter here and see how it goes. So PAF now has a Twitter feed, channel, or whatever the right word is.  It's at https://twitter.com/PhotoArtsForum if anyone is interested.  For now I'm thinking I'll probably just tweet links to some of the better discussions that come across and see what happens.

And Susie, you're the only person I'm following right now Cheesy Grin

So, now that you've been on Twitter for a couple months now; how's it working out for you?  Are you noticing any more traffic.  I've posted a couple of links to my sites on my Twitter and notice about 30 bots come visit immediately.  But it's only been a couple of hours since I signed up so I don't know how well it will convert in the long run.  I imagine the hard part is resisting the urge to cross post everything to the Twitter feed and posting links to other sites as well.
