It could very well be my monitor, but I see all the blacks disappearing into oblivion. I would have like a slight gradation of tone from dark at the top to light at the bottom of your background. I think this would add visual interest and keep them from 'falling away' in the blackness.
As always, this is a great example of your lighting prowess, Benji.
I would like to take a guess at your lighting... just to see how close I get.
-Main light: Large softbox camera left, 9-10' high, 10-12' away from the group, feathered across the front of them (and possibly goboed between the light and the lens for flare).
-Fill light: High and directly behind the camera.
-Hair/Separation/Kicker (whatever): camera right, behind the subjects, 6-7' high and 6 or so feet away, guessing a small softbox (also may be blocked for lens flare).
As I look at this, I wonder if your separation light could have been higher and feathered better to separate the people furthest away from the kicker light. Another technique I like for groups like this is the dual kickers like Hanson Fong uses. Two strip lights usually, placed right off the sides of the background.
Anyway, great photography as usual.
