had a discussion with the model on "should I edit out the reflections in her sun glasses"

I usually do unless its the sun then I "turn it up" she said they are cool I'm torn.

what do you guys think??

I would leave it, otherwise it looks like two dead spaces where her eyes should be.

What about making them a little smaller?  They seem a bit much there, but looks like something is missing if they're not.  Although I probably wouldn't have noticed the original except for you asking about it.

I think the photo without the reflections lacks the punch, it's not as lively. However, I would edit the reflections. I don't think you have to make them smaller, but they are kinda close together, giving her a cross-eyed look (even though it's not really her eyes). I would just move them to the outsides of her glasses just a touch, don't overdo it.

If you're going for glam, get rid of them. If you're going for odd, keep them. Smiley

Like catchlights, I think that you need them most of the time.  In this case, I think that you can get away without and makes the images little "darker".  If you used a high key background, I think that you would want them in order to keep the bright look of the image.

Thanks guys, the photos were to promote the clothing at her resale shop.

I gave her both images, didn't say anything about them. She picked the one "with" so I guess thats the end of the story... [grin]
