Any chance of getting a General Chat or Off Topic section here? I consider you guys to be friends and sometimes want to share things but can't because it'd be off topic.

We talked about it a few months ago. Seemed like the general consensus was that there were other places to go to talk about random stuff. I actually thought an OT board was a good idea, but didn't get that vibe from anyone that responded.

Let's give it a shot and see how it goes. Worst case we can always move the posts to another board if there's not much activity.

The problem with OT stuff is that it is usually spawned from casual comments on any thread. It's not likely to get moved to the OT board.
Here is my 2 cents:
I, personally, don't mind a little OT action. Feel free to run away on a topic I started.
But, I do think an OT board might be nice. You know so we can make personal announcements like "I'm pregnant" or "I am moving to Tallahasee"!
