Sun VirtualBox

Something about this just doesn't feel right, but I found a program called VirtualBox which should let me run WinXP from inside my Mac without restarting.  Not sure how well it's going to work, but it seems to be...

There are a couple of programs that are Windows only that I really like.  Hopefully this will run smoothly enough that I can run them.

That's interesting. Let us know how it works.

Haven't played too much, but it's still a Windows screen on a Mac.

My concern is can the windows programs see the MAC files?

Haven't gotten that far with it yet.  But, yes, that's pretty much a deal breaker if it can't.

Oh, and the URL for VirtualBox is http://www.virtualbox.org/ and it's free.  There are a couple of other virtualization programs out there for Mac, but none of the others are free.  I may wind up with one of the commercial ones eventually.  Right now just really want to see how fast XP is on my Mac.
