2nd & 4th look overflashed, especially #2. It almost looks like a night shot lit only with flash.
#1 is excellent. Love the bright yellow on a strong purple background.
YEP i agree..its just so hard doing macro in daylight with flash as a primary light.. marilyn and i just started utilizing the flash to freeze the motion.. a full size sb900 makes it very difficult to control...
thats where those small ring flashes shine... no pun intended..
only thing those ring flashes can be so flat looking and highlight less
