Couple more with the IR camera

A couple I took the other day I thought were cool.

I'm really liking the first one, Bob.

Thanks!
In the past I would not take a photo because there was just too much green. Now I just pick up the IR camera.

Like 'em both a lot.  The second almost looks like a scale model.  Something about the trees just don't seem "full sized".

Okay ,ill ask the question and show my ignorance..what is ir photography?. i know its infrared but where do we go from here

Light in the infrared range "messes" (gives everything a red tint) with digital sensors, so they put a filter to block IR light on almost every digital camera's sensor.  An IE camera has had that filter removed and another filter that only allows IR light to pass through it added. So technically these are reflected light that is outside what the human eye can see.  IR is prettier but UV is fun because birds can see in the UV range. Eggs are different as are animals markings. The fact that a hawk can see a mouse 500 yards away is partly because the grass appears white to him and the mouse black.
