museum of natural history nyc

went yesterday ,it was good although it can be quite expensive with tickets costing 48 bucks for marilyn and i..  wouldnt be bad if you could see it all in a day but you cant. LIZARDS AND SNAKES WERE THE FEATURED EXHIBITS

heres a few shots taken with our new lens collection of only primes...

we used a nikon d80 and d300 with :
35mm f1.8
50mm f1.4 and 1.8
105mm vr
24mm f2.8

Very cool. I can see a bit of reflection by the snake's nose in the first picture, but otherwise they're flawless. The chimp freaks me out, though. It really looks stuffed. Smiley No matter how good they get at taxidermy, there's a certain "something" that can't be replicated.
