my first photog class

I have arrived to a place and time in my life that I can reach out a little bit with my photography and get some hands on instruction.
This was at a meetup class at the zoo. In the first 10 minutes I received game changing information that opened up my whole photographic world. Viva la hands on instruction!
So excited to practice what I learned and move on to the next class.
woo-hoo!

Photography classes, especially the hands-on ones, are typically well worth the time and expense.  Even the ones I haven't liked, I learned something... even if it was what not to do.

I took a workshop with this guy last year. Well worth it. Hung out at his studio in Phoenix a couple weeks ago with some other folks that he works with. Doubly well worth it. I highly recommend taking one of his classes if you want to learn more about what you can do with the lighting you have and not just get a sales pitch on what he uses.
