I do make shots for backgrounds too, but I usually try and use something from their weddings, do you just use random shots from a library you have, or try and shoot stuff from their wedding too?

Susie,

I do both.  Sometimes you only get one or two shots that work when stretched across a 10x20 inch spread.  That's when I go to these.  I will shift the color to match something from the wedding and use blur or other filters to modify the image.  If I get the chance, I will post a few before and afters in another thread.

You are right, you can't get something great at every wedding.  I would love to see some stuff you have done.  On another thread, of course :)
