This is really beautiful Bob.  I would really like to see the photo before it was converted also.  I really love the curve of the road.  I love IR photos.  Great Job!

It wasn't converted. I removed the IR-block filter from my camera then screwed an IR-Pass filter on the front. what you see is what it was.
I darkened it a bit, and cropped out some people on the far right .

I prefer the first ones, but wouldnot these images benefit froman "autocontrast"? Just wondering.

BTW, a wonderful landscape with these so nicely curved paths. Extremely suited for an infrared.

Autocontrast (autoanything actually) is usually too much for me but a little is good (I probably boosted it a bit in the first image and forgot)

Hey Bob,

I usually try not to post on images where the only thing I have to say is, "Great Images" or something like that, but I just really can't think of anything else here.  What a wonderful photograph.  Thanks for sharing.
