This wedding took place at a tennis club, near Lake Washington, at 4pm. The bride wanted the water behind her in her posed formal, but that meant full sun beating down into her face. I used fill flash to compensate for some of the harsh shadows, but I'm not sure how successful I really was. Because it's a public beach, I was constantly having to fight angles to get rid of the guy with the beer belly standing in his boat watching from behind, or jetski riders zipping past and kids swimming in the water, haha. The image with the green bush behind her was because of an ugly pole back there with some guy smoking while leaning against it.

18 is very nice. Though I understand the bright sunlight is not optimal. I like the many bright colors. Her hair is bright and the flowers are bright. The bright grass and vivid sky all in combination work well.
At this size, I dont notice any harsh shadows. You did well.

I also enjoy the old couple dancing. I can see that on greeting cards and the like for certain! Nicely done.

My favorite is the first one in the posting.  I do wish there were somehow more light in her eyes, but the image is nice.  I also really like the way the sunlight is playing on her red hair in the last color photo.
