Just a light hanging in this location, thought the lighting was neat.

Love it! This is when photography starts to mean something to me. Someone who sees their environment with eyes that are different than a normal passerby's. Smiley

That's my problem, people say, "Why did you take a picture of THAT for?" until I point out why? next thing you hear is click, click etc.
Next time I'll capture the people trying.   Big Grin

Haha, exactly!! I love it when I'm taking a picture for texture purposes and people all gather around discussing what I'm shooting. Grin

I have no comments on the 'side' discussion... that I dare say Smiley

But both of you have posted beautiful images. I also love photos that are seemingly mundane objects brought to life by an artist's eye.  Do they have classes for that?  I also love the artistry of images like... the one... John posted Big Grin.

Actually she was part of a "canned hunt" ,aka workshop, when I first started thinking I might want to get serious about this whole photography thing. It would be hard to take a bad picture of her.

Sorry to hijack your thread Mike.

What worked for me was just thinking that I'd like to take shots of random stuff; then I found myself noticing it more. I have a whole series of ramdom industrial parts that I took at work. Once you get a few you seem to notice that kind of stuff everywhere.

John, when did you take that photo of Holly? No she never takes a bad picture and thats why her modeling rate is where it is. That and the fact that she's a playboy model.
