It was after a 4.5 mile river sprint. they put them there then road the water taxi back to get their cars.

the top two finishers were friends, both in racing boats. They paddled the 4.5 miles in around a half hour (I wasn't there since the rest of the pack was WAY behind them) Saw a great photo of the two of them shaking hands and then falling into the water to cool off.
