Main page images

Some of them, including Benji's blonde hair blowing in the fan beauty, are really, really pixelly.

It is probably whatever is resizing them to fit into the area.  The actual picture is bigger and not pixelated.  Photoshop does a great job resizing - most other programs don't, including when you put size requirements on the image so that the web browser will display it a specific size.

Susie nailed it.  It depends on where I was when I resized the image to what program I used.  PS at home, Irfanview if I'm somewhere else.

Considering it's the front page, and the pride we all take in our images, perhaps you should wait until you get home to do them? Wink I know Benji's image is so much better than it is coming across on my screen. In fact, the pixelization is causing it to look like she has a dark spot under her nose and a long snaggletooth on one side, eek.

Not to beat a dead horse...  Cheesy

But this is how Benji's image looks:

I know that the image could have been "save as to web" from Ryan's end, if so, the image is compressed "AGAIN" thus causing the pixelation and degradation of the image.

If you right click on the image and reuse it again by resizing for front page, don't compress it, that's what is causing jaggies, pixelations etc.
