Cool shot,

Less space needed, in comp.

Travis, I don't normally feel like I can comment on bird shots as I don't know anything about birds or photographing them, but I really like this one.  I love how you caught the wings up on one bird and down on the other.  It's very pretty.

Thanks for the comments.  I agree about the space, but I don't dare crop any further because I'm afraid I am already a little short on pixels for the birds anyway.  They were just too far away.  Everything is sharp in my original file, but there isn't enough detail in the finer features and feathers to crop in very much.  One of those times when I'm almost wishing I had a full-frame sensor; but of course, then I'd lose the lens factor so it may not have been to my advantage anyway...

Not much Bro, just less blue, maybe an inch side and bottom.

an inch is relative.  Are you talking about an inch from the little image he posted or from the full size image?
I know what you are saying about how much space is around the birds, but I also know what Travis is saying about not wanting to lose pixels.  I get caught in that situation sometimes.  I guess it depends on what the intended use of the photograph is.  If you are just posting on the web then you can crop away.  Printing is a different story.
