A small room, I can see the reflected light

I AM in a small room.  So that totally could be it!  I do have a dark grey backdrop set up immediately to the left of the camera, however the light could be reflected from somewhere.

As promised pics of my DIY softbox. More of a striplight really. Not as good as the real thing, but I had fun making it one rainy afternoon. Heat is a real problem on this thing. It fries whoever is in front of it for too long, and I kept worrying about it setting itself on fire. But it did work.

The lights are two 500w lights on a stand that came with it. I did move the light on the srand so that they were on the same side. The box is made from a large cardboard box that I cut and taped and "engineered" to fit. Covered the inside surfaces with aluminum foil and used a roll of plain white paper on the front. I did make a little wedge shaped reflector between the lights to even out the light on the front screen.
