Gorgeous, as always.  The second one is really beautiful.  Do you use a polarizer, I think you said you did once, the sky is perfect.

I'd burn down the grass at the top of the first one a little bit. They're both great.

Sarcasm, frustrating the clueless since 3000 b.c.

I would darken it with the burn tool, the owner might have issues with setting it on fire.... *ducks and runs*

I can't decide which one I like better, I would crop the top one differently so I guess that means I like the second better. Exposure is dead on. how did you choose your exposure settings?

I do. Smiley

I was afraid it would make the entire picture too dark, but I'll give it a try! Smiley

Out at the wetlands on a cloudy day I still want the depth of f/16. Basically, all I'm changing is the shutter speed, because I like the sharpness of ISO 100. Some days it doesn't work, because the wind blows the reeds and makes everything out of focus on longer shutter speeds and then I have to compensate with the f-stop.

I like the second one also.  The clouds are amazing.  I'm glad to see you using your often inclement weather to your advantage.

On the first one, I think it's a great abstract idea, but maybe not quite abstract enough to take it to that level.  I hope you don't mind, but I made one black & white and then did some burning and dodging in areas to get the contrast in the areas of the where I visualized it.  I also cropped it some.  I am not sure what your intention was with your image, so this may not work for you at all.  My idea was to make it an abstract of lines and curves; using only light and dark to define them.
Just another idea...

Travis, that's cool.  Although I think it should be sharper or something, I know we are looking at a small version and you only had a small one to play with, but I would use some contrast and a bit of sharpening to add depth to the detail.

BTW, the B&W version looks sorta like frost on black ice or something wintery.

Travis, I did try to do a black and white version, but yours is more successful than mine. When I saw the marsh grass, I immediately thought 'abstract'. I love the way the lines flow. Smiley
