Mouse vs Trackball

Any trackball users out there?

I used to use a Logitech Marble, but switched away from it when I picked up a wireless keyboard that came with a mouse. Getting rid of the wires seemed like a good idea. And overall I'm fine with the mouse. But I do find myself missing the trackball, especially when I have to move my wrist a bunch instead of just my thumb.

What I'd like to find is a bluetooth one similar to the Marble. Logitech has a bunch of RF ones, but nothing I've found that are specifically bluetooth. Don't mind RF, but I don't want to have to plugin another little USB adapter if I can find one that can piggyback off the bluetooth connection I already have.

And if it matters, I use a tablet when I'm editing images so the fact that a mouse works better for me than a trackball for that doesn't really matter.

I use a trackball and a tablet on my desktop (fingerball not thumb) I have a bad shoulder so it helps not having to move my arm.  As far as bluetooth, I don't know, but there probably is one somewhere. My laptop has a touch screen and I like it.

Meh, I think the mouse is going bad. It's a wireless Logitech LX8. Not a great mouse, but not bad. But it's tracking has been very inconsistent for the past couple of weeks. Sometimes it'll be find, and sometimes really slow. Switching batteries out doesn't help. So I just pulled out the portable mouse I use with my notebook to see if it was the mouse, and yup, it was. The little portable is working like a champ. So I guess that'll do for now.

I bet a bluetooth trackball would work great in the car... (I use it with a gps for the better directions..)

Little portable mouse wasn't doing it for me... went out and got one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043T7FXE/ . It's a wireless, but not bluetooth, trackball from Logitech. A bit smaller than the marble I used to have, and the ball doesn't seem as smooth as I remember; but it's doing well so far.
