OH MY GOSH MARIAN! It looks amazing. You aren't out anything either, although my guess would be you would be more likely to sell one in person, where they could see it. But this is a great start.
My nitpicks are that you put some of your busy images together at the end. I would put one really busy image next to something really sparse to give it contrast, or try making one really large on one side and then a smaller busy one on the other to give it some space so they aren't touching, gallery style.
I've changed the slideshow in the Portfolio section. Can some of you take a look and let me know what you think? How does it load? Is there a photo you'd remove?
slideshow loads fast runs well (I have a fast connection though)
I think you should change the girl with the tattoos back to without the overlay. Its a good artsy shot but her back is beautiful alone. (but see what others think first)

Loads fast and runs smooth for me. I am on a T1 line.
I don't mind the overlay on the back picture. There is one picture toward the beginning of a couple that is on the cool side. It looks like an engagement, they are looking at each other. I would probably warm it up a touch. People like warm pictures.
