House caught on fire. Not going to go into details on a public forum. My room was completely destroyed. I've attached a photo of my room where the camera was. We are alright nobody was home. I lost "stuff" my roommate (owner) lost more memory and collectible things. Everything I had fit in the 12x12 room so you know it wasn't much and everything can be replaced. Luckily I back up my photos online (full resolution) so I didn't lose any of them. Just have to start replacing everything which was fully insured.
Forgot to add that I was able to retrieve the now dead camera. I told Bob Edens that I got the one photo of it that I wanted and he was welcome to it to do whatever crazy project he can think of with it. So even though the destruction maybe something good looking can come out of it. I'm loving the D300s and will be shooting a charity drag racing event this weekend to break it in properly.
