. . . and so I got to relax. Well if you call packing up all your musical gear, driving an hour and a half, setting up and playing a gig for around 150 people , and then tearing everything back down and heading back home - relaxing. It was.
I always take my Nikon D40 with 18-200VR setup with me - along with my Mini DV camcorder and Macbook. For this night it was a reunion of Moods Music with 2 others of my old band members (in the early 1970's we played all over the place - we were all single then), along with 2 young family members to fill in for the bass player and drummer who are not around any longer. My youngest son Ryan plays guitar and sings in his own band with his cousin Brent who plays bass. They lent us old fogies their talent and energy for the evening - Ryan playing drums and Brent bass. We managed to squeeze in 2 practices over the last couple of months so we'd have some idea of how we would play the songs.

You may be entertained by a couple google video clips of us playing. Far from polished with the lack of practice - but fun
