NY Nick get's Hitched

Interesting.  Do you think your flash is bouncing off a back wall....

In most cases no.  I normally work very large venues.  It's something I just kind of accidentally found, and later found out that other photogs I know do  as well.
I don't ever really "foof", but sometimes shoot straight forward in heavy daylight, or on the leave.  However, 99 percent of the time, the flash head rests right on top of my head.

Weird, I know. :-)  I can't count the times helpful people have told me that my "flash is on backwards". Hehe.  They think I'm insane when I explain I'm doing it on purpose.

Sounds brilliant, I will have to try it out.
I struggle with dark cavernous reception halls.

Yeah, give it a whirl.  I've gotten quite a few folks into my weird habit. LOL
